To begin with, I am a nobody.

That truth, in and of itself, may be enough to qualify me for the undertaking of this site. I have no one funding my efforts, no audience to please, no social media following and no political agenda. I am hopelessly unimportant and unconnected.

I might also add, I have little common sense. Thankfully, I've been instructed, admonished, motivated, inspired—and a few more verbs I can't quite put my finger on—by family, friends, life experiences and a cargo-ship-load of mistakes. ​I also like to read, am insatiably curious, and like to jot down ideas. All of which makes Remarkably Obvious a heap of cluttered sticky notes, sitting on my desk—eventually to be translated to this website—reminding me (and you) to be sensible. ​​ ​
